Meet the Directors
Emily Nalepa - Director of Theatre
Mrs. Emily Nalepa has been selected to serve as the Director of Theatre at Grapevine High School for the 2026–2027 school year. Mrs. Nalepa has served as the Assistant Theatre Director at Grapevine High School since 2011, where she has been dedicated to inspiring students through performance, creativity, and collaboration. Mrs. Nalepa holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts from Texas State University and has a passion for theatre education. She creates meaningful opportunities for students both on and off the stage, helping them develop confidence, leadership, and artistic excellence. This school year marks Mrs. Nalepa's 20th year serving Grapevine-Colleyville ISD.

Chris Schell - Technical Theatre Director
Mr. Chris Schell has been selected to serve as the Technical Theatre Director at Grapevine High School for the 2026–2027 school year. Mr. Schell has served as a technical theatre volunteer since 2022 and has been an integral part of the department's success. He will continue to oversee the technical aspects of productions, including scenic construction, stage operations, and production support. His expertise and commitment help bring each production to life while providing students with valuable hands-on experience in technical theatre and stagecraft.
